About the Event

Please join us for a fireside chat with Amy Fong, Managing Director of Strategic Initiatives and Sustainability at the private equity firm FountainVest Partners (Asia) Limited. Amy has a fascinating experience spanning international private equity, sustainability and social impact and through this conversation, we hope to explore her perspective of Hong Kong’s current and future role as a private equity and sustainability center.

About the Expert

Amy Fong is the Managing Director of Strategic Initiatives and Sustainability at FountainVest, a leading Asian private equity fund, managing over USD11bn, with offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Frankfurt and Singapore. Amy oversees new business developments at FountainVest, as well as the ESG/Sustainability strategy development and implementation across 60+ portfolio companies globally in consumer, industrial and healthcare sectors. Prior to FountainVest, Amy served as CEO of the Hong Kong chapter of Save the Children, a charity focused on helping marginalized children. Prior to that, Amy spent two decades in financial services in the US and Asia with institutions inc JPMorgan, Credit Suisse and Merrill Lynch.  Amy sits on multiple Company boards and committees in HK and Europe. A graduate of Georgetown University, Amy has an MBA from Columbia University. Amy is a Hong Kong native and has a 22-year old daughter and a 17-year old son. She is a spiritual practitioner and teaches meditation as a volunteer on a regular basis.
