Rodrigo Sadi
Chairman
Rodrigo Sadi is a partner of the law firm McLaughlin & Stern LLP. He is licensed to practice law in Brazil and in New York. He practices in the area of U.S. and international corporate law, and represents financial institutions (banks, investment advisers and broker-dealers), private equity funds, multi-national companies, single and multi-family offices, and high net worth individuals, in their activities worldwide.
Starting in 2018, Rodrigo Sadi has been an adjunct professor at Fordham University’s School of Law, where he has taught U.S. Contract Law and Contract Drafting to foreign attorneys and currently teaches in the law school’s LLM (master’s) program.
As Chairman of the HKANY, Rodrigo Sadi serves as an intermediary between businesses from NY and HK to build and cultivate connections between Hong Kong and the U.S.

Raymond Wong
Vice Chair
Raymond joined the HKANY Board in 2006 and has been the Vice Chair since 2018. As founder and President of Wong, Wong & Associates P.C., Raymond has carved out a reputation as an expert problem-solver and fierce litigator. Raymond's experiences as a former soldier in the U.S. Army National Guard account for his prominent ability to strategize and fight in our adversarial legal system, while his educational background (with masters and bachelors degrees from the City College of the City University of New York in electrical and chemical engineering, respectively) is reflected in his precise, logical approach to legal problems. Since obtaining his juris doctorate from New York Law School, and founding his firm in 1988, Raymond has helped countless clients and gained extensive experience effectively handling civil litigation, criminal defense, and transactional matters. In HKANY, Raymond aspires to build and cultivate connections between Hong Kong and the U.S.

Sebastien Granier
Vice Chair
Sebastien has joined HKANY Board since 2014. He is the Head of Corporate Sales, Americas at Cathay Pacific Airways. He graduated from Institut Universitaire de Technologie in France. He is an experienced Sales Director with a demonstrated history of working in the airlines/aviation industry. He is skilled in Negotiation, Business Travel, Airports, Sales Management, and Commercial Aviation. His aspiration of joining HKANY is to further strengthen the links between Hong Kong, New York, and the Americas as a whole.
Sebastien has joined HKANY Board since 2014. He is the Head of Corporate Sales, Americas at Cathay Pacific Airways. He graduated from Institut Universitaire de Technologie in France. Samantha Cheung
Treasurer
Samantha Cheung is the Director of Administration for Aprio LLP’s Northeast Region since 2018, she has been boasting a decade of leadership experience in the Public Accounting sector. Her passion lies in Administration & Tax Operation department, where she excels in collaboration with diverse team members.
Within her current role, Samantha also holds the position of Chairperson within her company’s AAPI group, demonstrating her commitment to fostering inclusivity and representation.
Having recently joined the HKANY board in 2023, Samantha is eager to engage with professionals across the Northeast Region, aiming to uncover collaborative prospects and synergistic ventures.

Rex Lo
Secretary
Rex Lo is a Tax Manager of the Private Client Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Prior to joining the Private Tax practice, Rex was the Hong Kong Desk of Ernst & Young LLP from 2018 – 2022. He provided services to US and foreign multinationals on a wide range of Hong Kong and international tax matters. Before joining the US office, Rex worked at the mergers and acquisitions practice in Ernst & Young Hong Kong. His practical experience includes assisting multinational enterprises to design and implement their intellectual property model and financing structure, tax efficient supply chain and operating model, formation of holding company structures, private equity fund structure, and merger & acquisition structure planning.
Rex has been a Board member of HKANY since 2020. As an accounting professional in both the US and Hong Kong, he believes HKANY could play a role in promoting Hong Kong as a global financial center, as well as building business connections between the US and Hong Kong.

Linda Ho
Board Member
Linda joined the HKANY Board since 2010. Linda is the Senior Trade Manager of HKTB responsible to develop marketing strategies and execution with travel trade partners to drive US arrivals to Hong Kong. In HKANY, Linda hopes to build a strong relationship with the members to identify collaboration opportunities to rebuild and sustain Hong Kong’s appeal as the top of mind destination to both the leisure and business visitors.
Linda joined the HKANY Board since 2010. Maisie Ho
Board Member
Maisie has joined the HKANY Board as she assumed the position of Director of the HKETO NY in 2023. Since joining the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government as an Administrative Officer in 2007, Maisie has worked in various policy bureau and departments in the past 16 years under a wide portfolio, including the District Office of the Tai Po District, Labour and Welfare Bureau, Security Bureau, Chief Executive’s Office and the Health Bureau.
Maisie hopes to strengthen the trade, investment, cultural and people connection between Hong Kong and New York with HKANY.

James von Klemperer
Board Member
A member of the HKANY Board since 2015, James is President and Design Principal at KPF, where he leads a staff of over 750 architects in nine offices worldwide. He is an alumnus of Harvard University, University of Cambridge, and Princeton University. His architectural works can be seen around the world, including One Vanderbilt in New York, Blue Pool Road in Hong Kong, China Resources Tower in Shenzhen, Jing An Kerry Centre in Shanghai, Lotte World Tower in Seoul, WINDOW La Défense in Paris, and many more. von Klemperer has lectured at Harvard, Columbia, Tsinghua, Tongji, Seoul National, the ESA in Paris, AMO in Lyon, and Yale. In 2018, he received the American Prize for Architecture from The Chicago Athenaeum. Through HKANY, James develops lasting partnerships and engages in dialogue with leaders of the global business community.

Damien Laracy
Board Member
Damien joined the HKANY Board in 2021. Damien has been practicing law in Hong Kong since 1995 and he is the Head of the Hong Kong Office of Hill Dickinson. Damien specializes in commercial litigation, international arbitration, and insolvency litigation. Damien graduated from the University of Auckland with double bachelor’s degrees in Law and Commerce, and a master’s degree in Commercial Law. At HKANY, Damien hopes to grow and strengthen professional and personal ties with U.S. business and businesspeople. Anson Law
Board Member
Anson is the Chief Representative of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s New York and London Representative Office. Prior to his relocation to New York, Anson was based in Hong Kong leading HKMA’s market outreach efforts in asset and wealth management. Anson’s interest and work focus with the HKMA has been in the realm of private investment market and its infrastructure development. He was earlier the lead of HKMA’s European alternative investments portfolio. Anson also spearheaded the enactment of Hong Kong’s limited partnership law for funds, which was well-received by market after launch. Apart from his professional endeavors, Anson is passionate in Chinese culture, in particular Chinese culinary art, Chinese chess and martial art.
Anson looks forward to helping anyone planning to expand business in Hong Kong, or simply to know more about the city.

Curtis Louie
Board Member
Curtis joined the HKANY Board in 2022. He is the Officer-in-Charge at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC)’s New York Office where he covers the East Coast territories. He’s been with the HKTDC for 17+ years working on trade promotions and outreach in various sectors. Curtis also spent 10 years living and working in Hong Kong primarily in the music industry.
Joining the Board provides Curtis an opportunity to give back to Hong Kong which has played a substantial part of his personal and working life.

Andrew Odell
Board Member
Andrew is an incredibly supportive member of HKANY in a long time. Andrew has joined the HKANY since the 90s and he was the Chairman of HKANY between 2004 and 2009. Andrew hopes to continue supporting the HKANY. He is now a Partner at McLaughlin & Stern LLP.

Peter Reisman
Board Member
Peter joined the HKANY board in 2023. He is a Managing Director and the Chief Communications Officer at Bank of China U.S.A., where he leads a group focusing on government and public relations, business development, marketing, and corporate social responsibility. Peter has over 30 years of experience working with Chinese private and government entities advising on cross-border investments and bilateral trade with the United States, China and Israel.
Peter was the first American to graduate with a Master's in Law from Peking University Law School. He later went on to obtain J.D. and LL.M. degrees from Columbia Law School. Peter has worked at Cravath, Swaine, & Moore LLP in both New York and Hong Kong, before spending six years in Israel working for the government in both a legal and advisory capacity focusing on issues relating to China and other countries in the Asia Pacific region. He subsequently joined Island Capital Group as Senior Vice President in the capital markets group and later co-founded, and became the CEO of C-Bridge Capital Partners. In that capacity, he used his extensive personal network and experience in advising Chinese, American and Israeli clients on cross-border investment opportunities.
Peter is fluent in Mandarin and Hebrew and is a member of the National Committee on U.S. – China Relations and the advisory board for AJC’s Asia Pacific Institute. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Government and Public Relations Committee for the China General Chamber of Commerce- U.S.A.

With a deep understanding of the global investment landscape, Ranjit is poised to play a pivotal role in advancing HKETONY's strategic efforts in attracting investments and talents, fostering business relationships including with and through HKANY, and contributing to Hong Kong's role as a thriving global financial hub.

Henry Wan
Board Member
Henry is one of the founding members of HKANY Board. Currently, Henry is the President of Wan Development Group. He is also the co-founder and chairman of the annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival. Henry graduated from the University of Illinois, and then moved to New York to start his real estate and construction business. As a founding member of the association, Henry hopes to actively continue supporting HKANY.

Winona Zhao

Winona joined the HKANY Board in 2023. She is an International Director of Ernst & Young Tax Services Limited in Hong Kong. Within EY Global Desk Network, Winona focuses on International & US Private Client Tax Services. Under the account-centric strategy, Winona leads EY Service teams to provide holistic strategic and execution support to private companies and high net worth individuals in their cross-border M&A transactions or daily operations.
Winona’s aspirations of joining HKANY is to promote communication and collaboration between Hong Kong and the United States, and to enhance cross-culture sharing in both business and non-business communities.

Michelle Mui
Executive Director
Michelle joined the HKANY team in 2020. Outside of her career in the advertising industry, she takes pride in promoting Hong Kong, her hometown, with HKANY.
